The SPIN certification aims to set the standard for Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) and Sustainability practice in Nigeria through continuous professional development.
The SPIN certification provides the assurance that an individual has gone through a third-party evaluation of competence required in corporate Sustainability. This certification will be issued to individuals who have exhibited a propensity for practicing and supporting the sustainable development of people, planet and prosperity.
Networking
To support its members with long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships and exchange of information to scale impact, the SPIN will facilitate networking opportunities amongst its members, other businesses sustainability professionals and other stakeholders. This will also cut across national and global professional, and social settings, to seek wider reach and make greater impact for members.
Professional Development
SPIN offers specialized sustainability training and development opportunities to further enhance the skills, knowledge, effective techniques and required expertise to attain the desired professional status and produce world class professional leaders.
While keeping members informed of national and global developments in sustainability through mentorship, workshops, conferences, masterclasses, webinars, and other networking opportunities.
Advocacy
The SPIN drives high-level advocacy actions among stakeholders to raise public awareness on sensitive national and industry-specific sustainability issues. Then promote collective action needed to significantly address these issues and effectively contribute to sustainable development in Nigeria.
